Website update: From Wordpress to Blogger, why?

So those people who have followed my journeys from last year on BigWildPhoto have noticed that the website has changed almost completely. The reason was simple: I use a lot of Google products and services and I love the way they work together seamlessly e.g Youtube, Picasa and Blogger. My old pages were done with Wordpress and although the platform is highly customisable it was sometimes slow to work with and got some features that bugged me. Blogger user-interface is much simpler and easier to handle. It's breeze to add photos from my phone or web galleries. Analytics is integrated and pages run from highspeed Google servers.
But it did require some time to make this site to look like it should. I had to alter the css and html code a lot :) Now that the hardest part is over I'm gonna focus on building the site bigger/better and selling the next year. My plan is to write and keep you updated here at least once a week. I got few exciting things to tell you about photography and video, but the main thing is to tell you everything you need to know to join the adventure.
