I'm 33 years old entrepreneur, a professional photographer and a filmmaker from Helsinki, Finland. In 2005 I found myself in a situation where all the squirrels of the nearby park had already been photographed, so I booked flights to Nairobi, embarking on a journey towards Masai Mara with my rental car. While driving alone along the savannah and observing the world’s largest wild animals, I lost a piece of my heart and found myself. After that there was no question - I had to visit Africa again. Already after the second trip I began to develop the idea of organising tours to Kenya. For six years I collected information about the national parks and created connections to Kenya. Then I took the bull by the horns and established my own travel agency - BigWildPhoto Adventures.
But after two years of hard work marketing the trips, there still wasn't enough clients to make the business profitable. So I decided to put the agency on hold and concentrate on filmmaking and photography. But I still want to share my knowledge and experiences here to all who finds it useful. So please be welcome to join the adventure!
